The Live Near Your Work program provides select Washington University and BJC HealthCare employees with forgivable loans to help with the purchase of a home in select neighborhoods.
Who is eligible for the program?
Full-time employees or part-time employees working 24 or more hours per week at BJC HealthCare or Washington University who are purchasing a property in an eligible neighborhood. See the program website for more details and a map of eligible neighborhoods.
How much financial assistance is offered?
The Live Near Your Work program provides forgivable loans or grants, typically ranging from $6,000 to $12,500, depending on the home’s location and eligibility.
Can I use this benefit multiple times?
No, this benefit can only be used once and cannot be combined with another employee’s benefit on a single home purchase.
